    National School Chaplaincy Programme

    As reported in our recent briefing the High Court ruled that the current methodology for funding the National School Chaplaincy [and Student Welfare] Programme is not Constitutionally valid, but the Commonwealth has decided to waive its right to recover payments.

    Consultation on the future of reporting for charities

    In light of its commitment to abolish the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC), the Commonwealth Government’s Department of Social Services (DSS) has released an Options Paper  to seek feedback from charities and not-for-profits on its proposed replacement arrangements. Christian schools, being charities, will be impacted by whatever arrangements will be put in place.
