QLD SALT Breakfast Conversations
Join us for our inaugural SALT Breakfast Conversations with Principals and Deputy Principals from our QLD member schools and special guest Dr. Rob Loe as we explore how leadership is relational.
Join us online for our inaugural Queensland SALT Breakfast Conversations event with Dr. Rob Loe who will lead us in a morning conversation.
Rob will argue that leadership is relational because leadership is “a relationship – a relationship (says Walter Wright) in which one person seeks to influence the thoughts behaviour, beliefs or values of another person”. The premise is that the minute you seek to, or in effect do, influence others (their behaviours, thoughts or actions), you are leading them. So how should we think of leadership in that light? Rob will unpack five key principles (not of leadership) but principles of how not to lead. Five signs it is not going well and using Jude (verses 12 and 13) as a springboard, explore how to lead well.
This free members only event will be held online using Zoom technology and is ideally suited to Principals and Deputy Principals from CSA member schools in Queensland.
Upon registration, an email will be sent through containing an 'add to calendar' link and the zoom meeting details. A reminder email will also be sent through the day prior to the event. Please ensure you check your junkmail for these emails to ensure you have the zoom meeting link information.
