NSW Petition Supports Religious Freedom

24 April 2023

Schools will recall our Briefing last year when the Anti-Discrimination Amendment (Religious Freedoms and Equality) Bill 2020  was blocked in the NSW Parliament.

A NSW Parliament e-petition is currently open calling on the NSW Parliament to pass this Bill in accordance with the recommendations of the Joint Select Committee on the Anti-Discrimination Amendment (Religious Freedoms and Equality) Bill 2020 as outlined in our Briefing.

The e-petition is open for signature by any NSW resident and can be 'signed' here.  We are told that 20,000 signatures are required to force the Parliament to consider the subject of the petition.
