WA Commissioning Dinner

The mission of Christian education is alive and well in Western Australia. We would love for you to come join us for a time of networking and fellowshipping with other board members and school leaders over a meal, as we hear from our national team on upcoming projects that will support your school through the coming year. 

We are also excited to have, special guest, Dr Tania Watson join us at this commissioning event. Tania will be sharing with us some of her wisdom and commissioning our year ahead.

Event Information

This event is ideally suited to Principals, Board Members and other school leaders.

We are also welcoming spouses to this event and you will be able to register your guest on their behalf. Please note, this will attract an additional cost of $85 +GST.

Program Outline

A brief overview of the program is provided below, however please note this program is subject to change:

  • 6:00pm Arrival and Welcome
  • 6:30pm A delicious dinner consisting of main and dessert
  • 7:00pm CSA address
  • 7:30pm Dinner address, Dr Tania Watson
  • 8:30pm Concluding remarks, Dave Stevens
  • 9:00pm Conclusion

Speakers

Your Host, Dave Stevens

Dave Stevens serves as the Executive Officer, WA and leads the national portfolio of, Modes and Models of Schooling. Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having taught and held leadership roles in a range of schools nationally and internationally. Dave’s knowledge across a broad range of specialist areas, educational sectors and contexts, is evidenced in his ability to develop alternative programs that meet the needs of the students and teachers, whilst addressing the requirements of legislation. His passion for Relational Schools assists all schools in student wellness and retention.

Special Guest, Dr Tania Watson

Dr Tania Watson is the Executive Minister of Riverview Church in Perth, Western Australia.  From 2009-2019, Tania was the Executive Minister for Churches of Christ in WA.  In 2018, Tania completed a DMin from Nyack Seminary in NY, USA.  Her research work considered the relationship between trust, authority and leadership in the context of Australian culture. Tania is married to Neil.  They enjoy their adult children, their Schnoodle named Sundae and the joys of apartment life overlooking one of Perth’s many beautiful city parks. 

Qualify for CPD Hours

This event does not attract any CPD hours. 

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing to the Event Organiser. Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued after 30 days out from the event. Any cancellations made after this date will be charged the full registration fee. 'No Shows' to the event will be charged the full registration fee. 

The event program is subject to change and we may not be able to provide prior notice.

Please note that registration fees do not include insurance to cover loss of any fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the event or through cancellation of the event itself.

A full refund will be issued if the event is cancelled by the organiser (CSA) due to COVID-19 restrictions or any other reasons out of the organisers control.
