2IC and Emerging Leaders Network Meeting

The 2IC and Emerging Leaders Network meeting is an opportunity for Deputy/Assistant Principals and Emerging Leaders to gather for a time of networking, encouragement, and professional learning with the focus on Leadership.

Event Information

We will be joined via zoom by Dr Darren Iselin to help us unpack and apply the CSA Leadership Framework as well as engage with the Leadership Rubric. The CSA Leadership Framework is not just for principals, but for leaders at all levels in their leadership journey.

Morning tea will be provided.

Speakers

Speaker, Darren Iselin

Darren has extensive leadership experience within Christian education in both Australian and international contexts and has served in a wide range of CEO/executive and senior leadership roles within both K-12 schooling and higher education sectors. He is currently Director of Research and Innovation with Christian Schools Australia (CSA) and also is the Coordinator for the Cardus Education Survey Australia Project.

Qualify for CPD Hours

The event will attract 3 hours of professional learning that can be used for self-accreditation purposes. The event will address the following AITSL professional teacher standards:

» 6.2 Engage in professional learning (lead teacher level – initiate collaborative relationships)
» 7.4 Engage in professional teaching networks (lead teacher level – take a leadership role)
