The Emerging Leaders Course provides an overview of the fundamentals of school business and governance for teaching, support and administration leaders. The program, comprised of 3 series delivering 8 modules in total, provides tools, knowledge and exposure for the participant.

Event Information
Series 3 of the Emerging Leaders Course will cover two module topics. These are listed in the Program Outline, below.
The course is scheduled to take place from 10am to 11:30am (AEDT) on the following dates:

The course is delivered using Zoom technology with sessions including a 10minute break. The live chat function will be enabled throughout the session to allow participants to engage with the presenter and fellow attendees.

Fuse is a coordinated, well-resourced and accessible program that aims to intentionally identify, inspire, encourage and train potential leaders to equip them for high quality leadership from a Christian perspective. Together with the provision of well researched, practical leadership development programs and opportunities, Fuse will upskill, support and equip new and aspiring leaders by enabling strong connections and facilitating structures that support emerging leaders. Fuse is about developing capacity of new and aspiring leaders to lead with confidence and humility to be all that God has created them to be.

Andrew Davies is a Fellow of CPA Australia and holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting; a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management; and an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources. Andrew has been working in business management in schools since 2004, after working for 21 years in the SA Public Service on financial systems and policies. Andrew was later appointed the Director of Corporate Services overseeing business management of three schools – Salisbury East, Strathalbyn and Murray Bridge. Andrew served on the Christian Schools Australia National Council, chairing the CSA Finance Committee from 2012 to 2019, and has been an active contributor to the network of Christian School Business Managers in SA. Andrew is an active contributor to financial improvement for Christian schools, having authored the Financial Management Framework for Christian Schools; compiled ‘Upside’ – a collection of testimonies by Christian business managers; and delivered or co-delivered governance and financial management training to schools in SA, WA and emerging Christian schools in China, as well as presenting at conferences. Andrew is passionate about Christian schools and other not-for-profits achieving and demonstrating excellence in business management.
Qualify for CPD Hours
Following the completion of Series 3, a certificate of professional learning, addressing AITSL Professional Standards for Leadership, will be issued and contribute 9 hours towards your professional learning.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing to the Event Organiser. No refunds will be issued after 3 days out from the event. Any cancellations made after this date will be charged the full registration fee. 'No Shows' to the event will be charged the full registration fee.
The event program is subject to change without prior notice.
Registration fees do not include insurance to cover loss of any fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the event or through cancellation of the event itself.
A full refund will be issued if the event is cancelled by the organiser (CSA) due to COVID-19 restrictions or any other reasons out of the organisers control.
