SA State Conference Leaders Dinner

SA State Conference Leaders Dinner

This event is for CSA Members only

On the first day of Term 3 this year (19 July), we will hold our CSA State Conference. While we won’t be meeting in-person as the conference itself will be delivered as an on-demand package for individual schools or school hubs, we will hold our Leadership Dinner on the same date as an in-person event.

This will be an excellent chance for school leadership teams to connect, network and continue to build strong relationships across our association of schools. The dinner will include its own keynote speaker to encourage and inspire us in our leadership. It will reflect other state conferences around the country in its focus on Christian pedagogy.

We would love for you to join us.

Event Information

The cost of the dinner includes a two-course meal with pre-dinner canapes and drinks.

Please note the dresscode for the event is Smart/Lounge.

Payments for this event will not be accepted on the day. Invoices for school payments will be prepared and emailed in due course upon completion of your registration.

Speakers

Isobel Marshall, 2021 Young Australian of the Year

At just 18 years of age, Isobel co-founded TABOO with school friend Eloise Hall, to help women around the world by breaking down stigma around menstruation and providing greater access to hygiene products.  Isobel and business partner Eloise crowdfunded $56,000 to launch their range of products in August 2019. TABOO sells high quality, ethically sourced, organic cotton pads and tampons to an Australian market, with 100 per cent of net profits ; going to One Girls – a charity providing education programs for girls and women in Sierra Leone and Uganda.  Locally, Isobel and TABOO have partnered with Vinnies Women’s Crisis centre, providing free access to pads and tampons for women who require emergency accommodation in South Australia. Recognising period poverty is not just a big city issue, they also support the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Women’s Council. Isobel is also a full-time student at the University of Adelaide, where she is studying a Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Surgery.
