Your School: A Child Safe Organisation

Your School: A Child Safe Organisation

This is an opportunity for CSA principals to gather online for an information session centred around the implementation of the new Child Safe Standards.

Event Information

This 90-minute professional learning session will examine how the National Principles can be a framework to support your school embed a child safe culture and be a child safe organisation. We will cover:

  • What the National Principles are and how they look in Victoria and Tasmania.
  • How schools should embed the National Principles into all aspects of their operations and given the range and multiplicity of voices in the room, it will be a chance for you to interact and share emerging and best practice amongst yourselves. A key element of that time will be sharing the ways in which you are preparing for July.
  • How the National Principles assist a school in harm prevention by responding to and managing child safeguarding concerns.
