SA New Teachers to Christian Schools
An event for teachers new to Christian schools in SA to gather and explore the vision, culture, faith and practice of Christian education.
This event will present an opportunity for new teachers to explore the vision, purpose, culture, and practice of Christian schools, as well as meet new staff from across our association of schools with morning tea and lunch included.
Event Information
This induction program is ideally suited to teaching staff who are new to the profession and/or working in a Christian School for the first time. Utilising aspects of Flourish: A Vision of Christian Schooling (CSA’s Staff Induction Program) the event will explore vision, purpose, culture, and practice and give some insight as to how this could play out in each school. There will also be an opportunity for open discussion regarding some of the questions and challenges faced by new and graduate teachers as they commence in a new context.

Your Host: Mark Ryan, Executive Officer SA
Mark Ryan has been part of the CSA team since 2019 in the role of Executive Officer, SA. Mark has previous experience in leadership roles at Temple Christian College and, with degrees in both education and theology, held pastoral roles in a number of churches. Mark serves as a Director on the Board of Compass and with such an excellent grasp of biblical literacy, worldview and its application to culture, learning and vocation, is well-placed to lead CSA's national portfolio of Christian Formation.
