Religious Discrimination Bill 'Explainer' Videos

18 May 2022

Our good friends at the Institute for Civil Society (ICS) have created a series of Religious Discrimination Bill 'explainer' videos.

As schools would be aware the proposed Religious Discrimination Bill (RDB) went through the Lower House but was stalled before going to the Senate. Why did this happen? And why is it important that Australia has an RDB?

To answer these questions, ICS has made a three-part explainer video about the RDB. It is hoped that these videos will help inform understanding about religious discrimination in Australia, encourage people to vote for political candidates who support your fundamental freedoms this election, and provide ongoing awareness of these issues.

You can find these videos here:

Please feel free to share these videos with your school communities.
