Queensland Non-state School Framework Review Opens To Submissions

14 April 2023

The Non-State Schools Accreditation Framework Review has called for submissions and released a submission guide to assist in that process.

Our earlier Briefing covered the announcement of the Review in October last year, and some of the comments made by the Education Minister at that time.  The Terms of Reference for the Review were discussed in our Briefing last month.

In calling for submissions, the Review has indicated it will be guided by the following principles:

  • Students and their families are at the centre of the review.
  • A quality, safe and supportive educational environment is essential for students to learn and thrive.
  • Choice of schools for families is an important part of the Queensland education system.
  • Consultation and collaboration will underpin findings for a contemporary regulatory environment.

Written submissions, which are encouraged to consider the questions provided in the submission guide, should be emailed to [email protected].  CSA welcomes comments and feedback as soon as possible to inform our submission.

Submissions close at 5pm, Monday 15 May 2023.

The Review will also be holding a small number of roundtables. CSA has requested an invitation to these, any school wishing to express an interest in participating should email [email protected].
