2IC and Emerging Leaders Network Meeting

2IC and Emerging Leaders Network Meeting

The 2IC and Emerging Leaders Network meeting is an opportunity for Deputy/Assistant Principals and Emerging Leaders to gather for a time of networking, encouragement, and professional learning with morning tea included.

Event Information

The focus of our first 2IC and Emerging Leaders Network Meeting for 2023 will be on Teaching and Learning. With this in mind, I’d encourage you to invite your Head of Teaching and Learning (or equivalent role within your school) to come with you on the day.

We will be joined by Andrew Taylor (CSA EO, QLD), who has recently published our CSA Teaching and Learning Framework. Andrew has a national portfolio in the area of school improvement and has an extensive background in assisting schools to improve practices around teaching and learning. While we don’t normally charge for 2IC events, the small cost will help cover some of Andrew’s travelling expenses.

We would also love for you to bring along your own school’s framework to provoke discussion around some different approaches, but if that is still a work in progress, we would love you there anyway!.
