Come join us for the final QLD SALT Principals/School Leaders Gathering at the Arethusa College where there will be an overview of the operation of the college and a professional learning session focused on Learning Walks.

Event Information

The final QLD SALT Principal / School Leaders Gathering will be held at Arethusa College - Deception Bay Campus. The day will start with an overview of Arethusa College, why it exists and how it operates. The middle session will be led by Andrew Taylor and will be a professional learning session focused on Learning Walks. After lunch we will put the learning into action by undertaking a learning walk around the Learning Hubs of Arethusa College. The day will conclude with a debrief of the learning walks.

NOTE: The Flame Dinner will conclude the day at the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre

Host, Andrew Taylor

Andrew Taylor, currently serves as the Executive Officer, Qld and has over 30 years' experience in a range of leadership roles in education and has spent the last 15 years focusing on building capacity in teachers and school leaders. Andrew leads the national portfolio for School Improvement and is an experienced school improvement consultant focusing on building strong foundations that underpin all school activities.

At the conclusion of this event, a certificate of professional learning will be made available to attendees for self-accreditation via your member dashboard. This event addresses the following AITSL professional teacher and leadership standards:

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing to the Event Organiser. Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued after 15 days out from the event. Any cancellations made after this date will be charged the full registration fee. 'No Shows' to the event will be charged the full registration fee. 

The event program is subject to change and we may not be able to provide prior notice.

Please note that registration fees do not include insurance to cover loss of any fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the event or through cancellation of the event itself.

A full refund will be issued if the event is cancelled by the organiser (CSA) due to COVID-19 restrictions or any other reasons out of the organisers control.
