Assessing and Managing Complaints

These sessions are exclusively available to NSW/ACT schools who are members of the SRS Plus service [formerly known as NSW/ACT Child Protection Service]. The content is specifically tailored to child protection information under the applicable legislation for either ACT or NSW.

Event Information

Halloran Morrissey offers a range of services for organisations who work and volunteer with children, young people and vulnerable adults. Halloran Morrissey supports organisations to manage all aspects of their child protection and safeguarding requirements through investigations, risk management advice, policy development, professional development, training, and safeguarding audits.

Program Outline

The live webinars are for CSA Member Schools leadership and executive teams. The sessions will assist participants to build capacity in relation to understanding the Child Safe Standards and how they apply in a Christian school, developing a greater understanding of reportable conduct within the context of a school environment, ensuring consistent application of reportable conduct, managing risk, and understanding the preventative aspects to safeguarding children and employees.

Each webinar will be live and will run for 1.5 hours with an opportunity for Q&A.

About Halloran Morrissey

Halloran Morrissey is a company led by Directors Kate Halloran and Clare Morrissey. They have over 30 years combined experience operating within the NSW and ACT child protection framework and over 20 years combined experience providing advice, support, professional development and audits within the education sector, particularly the independent education sector, on safeguarding children and young people.

Halloran Morrissey has specialised knowledge of independent schools. Both Directors are former employees of the AISNSW and since establishing Halloran Morrissey have continued to focus their work and interest in the non-government school sector, working in partnership with CSA for a number of years. Halloran Morrissey has a team of staff with diverse backgrounds and professional experience, including law, research, risk management and managing workplace investigations.
