Join us online for our next Queensland SALT Breakfast Conversations event with special guest, Dr. Michael F. Bird who will lead us in a morning conversation.

Our special guest, Dr. Michael F. Bird will be addressing the question “What does it look like as a Christian school to not vacate the public square?”

Event Information

This free "members only" event will be held online using Zoom technology and is ideally suited to Principals and Deputy Principals from CSA member schools in Queensland.

Upon registration, an email will be sent through containing an 'add to calendar' link and the zoom meeting details. A reminder email will also be sent through the day prior to the event. Please ensure you check your junkmail for these emails to ensure you have the zoom meeting link information.

Speakers

Host, Andrew Taylor

Andrew Taylor, currently serves as the Executive Officer, Qld and has over 30 years' experience in a range of leadership roles in education and has spent the last 15 years focusing on building capacity in teachers and school leaders. Andrew leads the national portfolio for School Improvement and is an experienced school improvement consultant focusing on building strong foundations that underpin all school activities.

Speaker, Dr. Michael F. Bird

Rev. Dr. Michael F. Bird (PhD University of Queensland) is Academic Dean at Ridley College in Melbourne, Australia. He is an Anglican priest and scholar specialising in Christian Theology, the New Testament, and early Christian history. Mike is the author and editor of over 30 books including Religious Freedom in a Secular Age and along with N.T. Wright, The New Testament in its World.
