Foundations Module 1: Vision

Module 1: Vision, of the Foundations of Christian Education, is an online course undertaken at your own pace through the CSA Professional Learning Hub. It is designed for all staff from CSA member schools. 

  • Costs: for this module are $10 +GST, per person (also includes the Introduction to the Course). You have the option to pay via credit card or have the invoice sent to your school. You will receive an order confirmation of the transaction, once the checkout is completed.
  • Bulk Registrations: to register a number of staff from the one school, please download this bulk registration form and send by email here.
  • Individual Registrations: Please follow the steps below to register and enrol in this course...
    1.  Click on the "Register Now" button and follow the prompts through to checkout (Please ignore the 1 January 2026 date on the options - the course is self-paced so you can complete at any time).
    2. Once registered, you will receive an "Action Required" registration email to complete your enrolment. If you do not already have an account setup on the CSA Professional Learning Hub, you will need to create a new account, verify your email and then login to your newly created account.
    3. Once logged in to the CSA Professional Learning Hub, you will be redirected to the course page where you can sign up up to the module using the special sign up key provided to you in the "Action Required" registration email.

 

Qualify for CPD Hours

At the conclusion of this course, a certificate of professional learning, for self-accreditation, will be made available to participants, via your member dashboard. The CPD hours allocated are one per module. The event will address the following AITSL standards and Christian Distinctive Focus areas:

»  2A Knowledge of the Bible as it relates to content and the teaching of the content
»  2B Understand the philosophical framework(s) influencing the ways in which content is framed and the ways in which a Christian perspective may be taught to students
»  3A Integration of a Christian perspective throughout content, programs and teaching strategies
»  6A Engage in professional learning which aids the development of a philosophy of Christian Education based in Biblical principles
»  7A Knowledge about and engagement with the school, its Christian ethos and vision
»  7B Contributes to the development of distinctive Christian practice in the school, profession and wider community
