Wellness is not just a buzzword - the wellness and resilience of schools is a critical consideration, impacting staff, students and community in every aspect of education. 

And as PAs and Admins, you have a critical role in nurturing the the culture in your school.

Join our experienced, special guests, Mike Potter and Adam Przytula, for thoughtful and practical sessions on nurturing and sustaining wellness and resilience in your schools as we face increasing mental health and wellness challenges.

Event Information

This in person event is ideally suited to PAs and Admins. 

Mike and Adam will have copies of their book available for purchase on the day of the event.

This is a catered event and you will have the option to note dietary options on registration.

Program Outline

A brief overview of the program is provided below, however please note this program is subject to change:

Speakers

Mike Potter - Principal Tyndale Christian School

Mike Potter has served as the Principal of Tyndale Christian School in South Australia since 2000. In the 13 years prior to that, Mike served as the Assistant Principal of a British Preparatory School in Nairobi, Kenya. Mike is also the author of "Life is Messy: Hope in Dark Places" in which he documents his very personal journey from 2015 of his experience with life "coming undone" and then his journey of rediscovery of faith, hope and the all sufficiency of Christ even when life is messy. 

Adam Przytula - Director, Armed for Life

Adam is the Founder, Director and international speaker at Armed for Life, a foundation that aims to develop resilience and improve mental health for people of all ages. Armed with his own survivor story, he has worked with more than 1 million students in over 500 schools, spanning 11 years to address the many areas where staff, students and parents struggle. Prior to Armed for Life, Adam spent 5 years as a chaplain and teacher at Winthrop Baptist College and 8 years as the junior high minister at Riverview Church. Adam is also the author of "road to Resilience" which aims to teach teens to skills they need to face their challenges, develop resilience and reach their goals. 

 

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing to the Event Organiser. Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued after 4 days out from the event. Any cancellations made after this date will be charged the full registration fee. 'No Shows' to the event will be charged the full registration fee. 

The event program is subject to change and we may not be able to provide prior notice. 

A full refund will be issued if the event is cancelled by the organiser (CSA) due to COVID-19 restrictions or any other reasons out of the organisers control.
