A special professional learning event for those new to Christian schooling. This training seeks to empower staff in Christian schools to embrace their purpose and mission to bring the message of Jesus, through education, to a world in need.
We look forward to welcoming members and non-members, who may be new to Christian schooling, to this event.
Event Information
This event is ideally suited to any staff (teaching and non-teaching) who may be new to Christian schooling.
This training program has been specifically designed to be run as a staff induction program. It is comprised of four individual sessions and the last two (Faith and Practice) will be explored at this event.
Faith: This module specifically tackles the role that faith, theology and worldview play in a school environment and how this can be done well.
Practice: This module evaluates what it looks like to work, teach, and live out the Christian life in a school and the impact this has on everyone involved.

Speakers
Event Facilitator, Dave Stevens
Dave Stevens serves as the Executive Officer, WA and leads the national portfolio of, Modes and Models of Schooling. Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having taught and held leadership roles in a range of schools nationally and internationally. Dave’s knowledge across a broad range of specialist areas, educational sectors and contexts, is evidenced in his ability to develop alternative programs that meet the needs of the students and teachers, whilst addressing the requirements of legislation. His passion for Relational Schools assists all schools in student wellness and retention.
Qualify for CPD Hours
This event attracts 5 CPD hours according to the following AITSL professional teacher and leadership standards:

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing to the Event Organiser. Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued after 30 days out from the event. Any cancellations made after this date will be charged the full registration fee. 'No Shows' to the event will be charged the full registration fee.
The event program is subject to change and we may not be able to provide prior notice.
Please note that registration fees do not include insurance to cover loss of any fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the event or through cancellation of the event itself.
A full refund will be issued if the event is cancelled by the organiser (CSA) due to COVID-19 restrictions or any other reasons out of the organisers control.
