School Governance Training

The School Governance Program is a 12-module course designed to equip Christian school board members, the principal and school leadership team with the key governance knowledge they need to understand and support the board’s role so that directors remain mission true and ministry-orientated and secure the school’s long-term sustainability.

The School Governance Program is a series of short courses, consisting of:

  • Short Course 2 – Financial Governance: Financial Reporting; Financial Performance; Principal and Executive Oversight

  • Short Course 4 – Governance Sustainability: Stakeholder Communication; Board Effectiveness; Boardroom Dynamics.

The Short Courses are broken into sessions and each session involves a presentation during which all participants are encouraged to discuss issues raised in the module and share experiences.
