Lisa Coles is Executive Principal of Arethusa College, a special assistance school that seeks to bring the best out of students who have had disrupted, often traumatic learning journeys. Initially working as a paediatric Physiotherapist in both educational and medical settings, she went on to fulfil her lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. She now has a Master of Educational Studies and has worked in a wide variety of State, Independent and Christian schools. She is passionate about leadership and learning and Grace wherever she finds it. She has special interests in spiritual formation after trauma, pedagogy that motivates, and individualised, personalised learning done in community. She loves rain and reading and green spaces, preferably all at the same time.
